a lutsen wedding

Beth and Chuck.  Sometimes you meet people and you just click.  After spending five minutes with this couple I felt like we had been friends for years.  During their engagement shoot I found out that Chuck's uncle was one of my favorite teachers and coaches growing up.  Small world.

On a beautiful, but cold, February day Beth and Chuck vowed they would be the others' forever at the Lutsen Resort on Lake Superior.​  Although, it was one of the coldest days of the year we managed to get outside and take some pictures down by the lake. And even though the temperature hovered right around the zero mark we had a blast.

 I can see why people love to visit the North Shore.  Life moves at it's own pace there. The grandeur of creation around you just makes you stand in awe. It is beautiful. Cold. But beautiful.
