Jaycee and Matt. A Minneapolis Engagement.

It's raining in Minnesota today. Again. The rain is cold. The sky is grey. BUT, the grass is greener and the trees are really starting to bud. The rain can really be an inconvenience but I am trying really hard to see the silver lining, the good in a not so great situation. So, instead of seeing the grey today I am choosing to see the blooms. Instead of the seeing just the cold I am choosing to be thankful for sweatshirts and coffee. 

I feel in todays world we are so quick to jump to the negative. We are so focused on what others aren't doing, where people aren't going, how people don't line up with our views and somehow that makes THEM the problem.  Instead why don't we start focusing on the good we can do. The people we can love and the way WE can make the world a better place.  Let's start SERVING others and see how happy we can be.

Introducing Jaycee and Matthew. Two people that truly make the world around them a better place. Their hearts to serve others is so beautiful and I so enjoyed my session exploring Minneapolis with them.  Not only do these two change the world around them but they also yearly go on a trip specifically to SERVE others. They lead a group of teenagers to different parts of the world for service projects. They teach those kids what life is really about-serving others, loving others, and seeing beyond themselves. It is an honor to know Jaycee and Matt-here is just a glimpse into their world.
