Hi, I'm April and I want to be a part of your story. When I started my business my hope, and ultimately, my goal was to make everyone that I met to feel seen and heard. I know how intimidating it can be to be on the other side of the camera so I do my very best to create a safe atmosphere that allows you to laugh, relax, and have fun. And that is what I strive for. I want to create an authentic experience that showcases your personality and zeal for life.

I am a girl that loves a good sale-the clearance aisles of Target make me happpppppy. But I am finding that actually grocery delivery makes me even happierrrrrr. Or thrift sales, farmers markets, a good love story, OR something with guns, blood, and mystery. I love buffalo chicken anything, condiments are my jam-especially chic-fil-a sauce or the yum yum sauce at benihana… (Don’t judge.)

When you meet me you will find that I am a bit quirky and super down to earth. I talk really fast but if you know me you know my brain works even faster. I rarely can just sit (but is something I am working on…) and love to celebrate life and movement every day. There are few days that I won’t create a unique list of things I am grateful for and think that thankfulness and gratitude will change your life. When we chat you will find that I am very empathetic and do my best to OVER communicate-thanks to Covid I have learned that you literally can’t communicate too much. So, be prepared for all the emails, all the “how to” attachments that will hopefully help make your day even better.

I don’t take it lightly when people hire me, or really even meet with me to discuss their wedding or family photos. When you look back on your time with me and the photos that accompany it I not only want you to have beautiful, classic pieces of art but I also want you to be able to go back and FEEL the emotion that you felt that day.

I love to tell stories that bring you back to that exact moment-you can hear the music playing, smell the cake, and feel what you felt. I LOVE all people and think everyone deserves to feel loved. And celebrated.

April is such a joy to work with. She truly knows how to make you feel comfortable, natural, and just look your absolute best. I’ll forever believe April is a magician. We hired her based on her work we saw on Instagram and quickly knew we made the right decision when we met her for our engagement shoot. Her glowing and funny personality won us over immediately. She made us feel so comfortable and had a way to always get us laughing. She was able to capture the most amazing candid photos that we will cherish forever. We were even more impressed on our wedding day and couldn’t believe all the beautiful images she captured. We are now expecting our first baby and couldn’t have imagined anyone else to capture our maternity photos. April never ceases to amazing us. The photos and moments she captures are pure magic. We have definitely found the photographer we will use for every milestone and every set of family photos. Not to mention a friend we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

April was everyone’s favorite vendor!! We had two tornadoes on the day of our wedding-everyone soaked from the rain and the pictures were STILL stunning. We could not have asked for a better, or “funner”, photographer for our wedding. THANK YOU X 1000000!

April has an amazing personality and had our whole family laughing which helped make everyone feel more comfortable.
